The world of religion contains an unabated recounting of miracles.
According to his biographers — and they are as worthy of credence as the Evangelists — his career, particularly in the miraculous events attending it, bore a remarkable resemblance to that of Christ. Like Christ, he was a divine incarnation; like Christ his miraculous conception was announced before his birth; like Christ he possessed in childhood the wisdom of a sage; like Christ he is said to have led a blameless life; like Christ his moral teachings were declared to be the best the world had known; like Christ he remained a celibate; like Christ he was averse to riches; like Christ he purified the religious temples; like Christ he predicted future events; like Christ he performed miracles, cast out devils, healed the sick, and restored the dead to life; like Christ he died, rose from the grave, ascended to heaven, and was worshiped as a god.
Observation, which has never been once falsified, teaches us that miracles never happen but in times and countries in which they are believed, and before persons disposed to believe them. No miracle ever occurred in the presence of men capable of testing its miraculous character…. It is not, then, in the name of this or that philosophy, but in the name of universal experience, that we banish miracles from history.
Would Have Been A Miracle
With a high temperature of 134 degrees, Death Valley in the United States has been documented as the hottest place on earth. There is an unexplained phenomena that occurs in the Death Valley. Large stones, some weighing as much as 700 pounds leave trails on the ground that are over 100 feet long. The rocks move and inscribe long tracks along a smooth valley floor without human or animal intervention. Tracks from these sliding rocks have been observed and studied in various locations, including Little Bonnie Claire Playa in Nevada, and most notably Racetrack Playa, Death Valley National Park, California where the number and length of tracks are notable. At Racetrack Playa, these tracks have been studied since the early 1900s, yet the origins of stone movement are not confirmed and remain the subject of research for which several hypotheses[ exist.
The stones move only every two or three years and most tracks develop over three or four years. Stones with rough bottoms leave straight striated tracks while those with smooth bottoms tend to wander. Stones sometimes turn over, exposing another edge to the ground and leaving a different track in the stone’s wake.
Trails differ in both direction and length. Rocks that start next to each other may travel parallel for a time, before one abruptly changes direction to the left, right, or even back to the direction it came from. Trail length also varies – two similarly sized and shaped rocks may travel uniformly, then one could move ahead or stop in its track.

The Point
There are things that happen for which there is seeming no other explanation than God. As the example of the sailing rocks shows, impossible things can happen without God’s divine intervention.

The point of the above comment is: Being able to ‘perform miracles’ does not make one ‘better’ than anyone else. ‘He that doeth miracle’ is no ‘greater’ than ‘he that miracle is done upon’ …the two are mutually interdependent poles of the same stick and cannot exist without each other.
It really doesn’t make Jesus any more special than anyone else even if he did perform ‘miracles’
… fact is everything implies everything else…everyone is mutually interdependent with everyone else…even ‘Jesus’. So in other words there are really no separate agents of action for the action of anything or anyone is always mutually interdependent upon everything else that is going on …so there’s always only the activity of the whole (or just: ‘Activity’)…like when a finger moves it is always a function of the whole body. A ‘miracle’ is dependent upon the context in which it is performed (have you ever heard of a ‘miracle’ with absolutely no context in which it is performed?) The activity of a so-called ‘miracle’ would be dependent upon the context in which the ‘miracle’ is performed. ‘Jesus’ is not some thing separate from the rest of us…’Jesus’ goes-with the rest of us just like anyone else goes-with the rest of us…
This is a well needed website…
It’s a shame that 99.9% of Christians only follow Jesus out of total fear.
Of course we both know that instead of really thinking about what is being said on this website 99.9% of Christians who come across this will simply write this site off as ‘a work of the devil’.
