For being superior to humans God displays many of our most lowly regarded emotions, such as anger, rage, and contempt. We look down upon people who let their anger get the best of them, yet Christians look at this without hesitation.

Let’s have a look at the “proof” of God’s love:

Where’s the love in that?

God has no use for you if you are handicapped:

Why does the god of a bronze age text limit himself to technologies of bronze age man. Swords? Chariots? Really?

God is not loving, merciful and just. In fact by his own admission, he is the source of evil:Jeremiah. 11:11, 16:10-11, 19:3, 23:12, 26:3,13,19, 32:42, 35:17, 36:3, 36:31, 40:2, 42:10, 44:2, 45:5, 49:37, 51:64.

The events described below could not possibly be allowed by a God who is truly merciful, just, loving, ad nauseam. The events described below are contradictory to every attribute a loving God is supposed to have. Some are even God’s own words encouraging the worst sorts of atrocities. Read them and weep.

God Permits Priests to Molest Children

What God would allow his spokesman, those who represent Him, those who are sanctified in His Name to rape and molest children as thousands of Catholic priests did all over the world? It is inconceivable that a real God would allow those who speak for Him, in His name to ruin the lives of thousands of innocent children.

The only possible conclusion is that there is no God. How do you explain otherwise? Do you really want to worship a God who would permit His representatives to rape young alter boys?  WHY?

In case you lost the message in the evil words, let me sum them up for you:

• Lie to the citizens.
• Make them your slaves if they believe your lie.
• If they don’t believe you, stand back and let God beat the shit out of them

• But for those cities that God has given for an inheritance, thou shalt save alive nothing that breatheth.

There are two different outcomes here: kill only males in the non-inheritance cities; save alive nothing that breatheth in the cities which the LORD thy God doth give as an inheritance. Now how’s that for love, justice, and mercy? Not so great if you were  Hittite,  Amorite,  Canaanite,  Perizzite, Hivite, or  Jebusite.

The image you worship i.e. the LORD, is a hideous monster. How can you possibly love, worship and praise it?

Oh, and by the way, what makes the citizens of these cities enemies? Well the fact that they had the misfortune to inhabit a city that God had promised to the Children of Israel, that’s what. What about recent cases?

• Theodore McCarrick, a former Roman Catholic cardinal in the US, was defrocked over claims he sexually assaulted a teenager in New York in the early 1970s
• In August 2018, a Pennsylvania grand jury named more than 300 clergy in a report which found more than 1,000 children had been abused
• Australian Archbishop Philip Wilson resigned in July 2018 after being convicted of concealing child sex abuse carried out by another priest

How has the Church responded?

One Last Proof of God’s “Love and Mercy”

Do you think that really happened? One person slewing “an hundred and twenty thousand valiant men in one day”? Because they had forsaken the God of their fathers?  Where’s the mercy?

If you think that really happened you are stupid; no other conclusion can be drawn. If you think that really happened, you need to ask yourself why you are still worshiping a god that would be a part of that. If you know it did not happen, then you have to admit that the bible does contain stories that are not true. And that is the very point of this website.

In addition, one more “proof of God’s love”:

WHERE’S THE LOVE?

You may believe in “God” but why do you even speak to it after all his indifference to human suffering?
Would you speak to me if I watched and allowed your daughter to be tortured and raped?
God fails as a “Good Samaritan” and is guilty of depraved indifference.
What good is He if he doesn’t help us in these cases?

In short, how do you reconcile the claims of faith with the facts of life?

Please, oh please do not use the phrase “free will” in your answer. To do so, would be to admit that “free will” trumps God’s love and mercy.

Of course no God that was truly loving and merciful and just would design, participate in, command, or allow such atrocities. There can be only one conclusion. There is no God.
