God can’t remember why he cast out Adam and Eve, first it was because he was punishing mankind because Eve, (who didn’t know she should distinguish between a talking serpent she could see and hear, and a god who she couldn’t see or hear), ate an apple from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil (Genesis 2:16).  But later, we learn that the eating of the apple is NOT the reason Jesus had to die.

3:22 And the LORD God said, Behold, the man is become as one of us, to know good and evil: and now, lest he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever:
3:23 Therefore the LORD God sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from whence he was taken.

WAIT! Let’s look at that again. God is afraid that man might get a chance to eat from that OTHER tree (the tree of life) so God sends him out of the garden of Eden! Not because Eve ate from the apple but because GOD IS AFRAID that man would eat and live forever.

NOTE: Although God told Adam not to eat from the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil (2:16-17), he never told him not to eat from the Tree of Life. God said that Adam would die the day that he ate from the forbidden tree (2:17). Well, Adam ate from that tree (3:6), but did not die. Just one more instance of the bible falsified.

BTW… why was God worried that Adam might eat from that other tree (the Tree of Life) and live forever?
