It’s become clear to me after all these years that we humans are stupid. Some of us use religion to pass the time, some use politics, some science. We’re all passing time to validate that we exist and have value. Give humans two million more years and maybe then a different, more evolved creature will come along. That creature or creatures may have a different take on living. Who knows?

I just came across the website of The Church of Truth while surfing the Internet.
I, Mohan A. Hoskote, age 80 years, have after more than 25 years of research, discovered more than a Dozen, New, Historical Facts and Findings and prepared Stories for TWO BLOCKBUSTER DOCUMENTARY FILMS based on the Holy Bible, one based on the Old and the other based on the New Testament.
I write this to seek your help to get a Documentary Producer if it is possible for you.
The reason is : I have resolved the Mystery of Jesus Christ that has been hanging fire for past so many years.
After wasting more than 10 years to get a Publisher, I Self-published my book “I AM THE WAY TO INTERFAITH UNDERSTANDING” on the AMAZON KINDLE in February last year.
Intriguingly, only one copy has been sold & I have my own suspicions about Amazon.The Christian Lobby appears to be all powerful.

I dont blame you or think less of you for your honest thoughts. I think I understand you, and your points are valid from your point of view from your experiences. I myself would most likely think like you feel like you and act like you if I had experienced your life. Though it is beyond my understanding why the creator chose the system he did and I agree man has messed it up all along the way getting the facts wrong telling people what to believe and killing those that don’t agree with them.
I know you know history and I personally have a very hard time believing you have not encountered one person that you could not trust that was not lying to you for self serving purposes, that has shared with you what they have experienced, and that if what they told you was true would be undeniable evidence that there is a supernatural loving God that loves them, and loves you.
I am pretty sure but not positive you could care less about the personal testimony of others it only makes sence you can not trust anyone or just a few and they have had the same life experiences (so i will not share my many, i know its not fair, I agree, some see! And experience, and others dont, its not about personal worth or how good etc I know that.) and that others experiences might mean nothing to you in regards to what you should believe.
So my prayer to your Creator and mine is that he will take away your ability to honestly say you have seen no evidence that proves there is a spirit world and the creator that loves you at least then you can know in your heart and mind that there is an afterlife, nomatter what others say, and since you were given a intelligent brain what you do with it matters.
So on that day you will know and must choose who is in control you or your creator as you have heard many times “Its your choice,” I do not have blind faith, I’m like the doubting Thomas, I wish everyone could have experienced things like I have it does make a difference (but really its more for the one who experienced the spiritual encounter) I would be the foolish one to deny what has been very real many times, but still few times in light of a whole Lifetime. But even 1 time is enough to know the truth of the otherside and his Love for us.
Then its just a choice what to believe but you will not be able to doubt there is more to this life. But its still your choice what you wanna to believe about Life or about who created all you can see if you have sight to see with.
Blessing to you, and thank you for your honesty, I pray you will be just as brave and honest telling others about the otherside when your day comes when Your creator gives you the proof i pray he will give you by letting you know he loves you. I have no doubt it will be the happiest experience you have ever experienced when you feel the love of your creator. And from my experience The Creator is Jesus, but he was known as Yeshua in the day that he showed all those who where there to see face to face how much he Loves us.
He is a Liar, Lord, or a Lunatic. I humbly am thankful he is my Lord and Best Friend he wants to be yours, sorry for your Bad experiences he knows them all, there is Good ones to come in his Love and frienddhip.

I signed up to Facebook some years ago, but I do not use it. Here is an essay I put together in a few years back that shows that Jesus is a myth.
CONCEPTION OF JESUS.
Do you think that Mary and Joseph should have remembered the miraculous events surrounding the birth of Jesus? You would naturally think that when a woman goes through a unique conception, that she would remember it, and that the man who’s wife became pregnant while they were engaged, without any effort on his part, that he would remember it also. It is not something he would easily forget. Yet the gospel writers seem to have strange memory lapses.
According to Luke 2: 42-50, Mary finds Jesus in the temple, she chastises him for causing so much trouble, whereby he replied “Why is it that you are looking for me? Did you not know that I must be concerned with the affairs of my father”. Luke’s gospel adds, “and they (Mary and Joseph) did not understand the saying that he (Jesus) spoke to them.” Mary does not understand, Joseph does not understand, If Mary and Joseph were both visited by angels before the birth of Jesus, how is it that they don’t understand, some twelve years later. Has Mary forgotten that Jesus was supernaturally conceived in such a way as was never experienced by any other person? Is it unlikely that Mary would forget Elizabeth saying to her? “Blessed are you among women and blessed is the fruit of your womb.” “And why is this (granted) to me, that the mother of my Lord should come to me.” Luke 1:42-43, and especially Mary’s own words. “My soul magnifies the Lord, and my spirit has rejoiced in God my saviour. For he has looked upon the humble state of his slave girl, for, behold, from now on all generations will call me blessed, because the mighty one has done great things to me, and holy is his name.” Luke 1:46-49,
After all of this Mary does not know what Jesus meant when he said that he must be concerned about the affairs of his father. How could Mary and Joseph forget that the wise men Magi worshipped Jesus as a baby and presented him with gold, frankincense, and myrrh? Matthew 2:11, They also seemed to forget how an angel appeared to Joseph telling him to go to Egypt with Mary and Jesus. Matthew 2: 13, and that Herod slew all of the children two years of age or under in Bethlehem. Matthew 2: 16. How could they forget that, (apart from the fact that it fulfilled scripture,
Hosea 11:1) Why did they have to flee to Egypt ? Did they go to Egypt? According to Luke 2: 39, they went to Nazareth and were not in the dangerous area of Bethlehem, where it is alleged that Herod had the children slain. This creates another problem Herod died four years prior to when the church originally stated that Jesus was born.
Perhaps Matthew’s placing them in Egypt to fulfill scripture was too quick for Joseph and Mary to remember, for Luke 2: 22, has them in Jerusalem for forty days after the birth to fulfill Leviticus 12:1-8, and then in Luke 2:39, they return to Nazareth. They also seemed to forget how the shepherds, made known the saying which had been told to them about this child, Luke 2: 17. Mary and Joseph even forgot, how they marveled ten months after the angelic visitations, that is, one month after the event surrounding Jesus birth.
At that time they were already surprised when Simeon and Anna, the daughter of Phanvel, spoke of Jesus future while he was yet still an infant. Luke 2:25-38.
If these events are historical, why is it that later, during Jesus active period, no one, not even his family, seem to know of his marvelous origins, Matt.13: 54-55, If a conception took place would not Mary have some idea just as to who Jesus was? Would not she reveal this information to her family? Yet we find that Jesus relatives, who came to seize him, Mark 3:21,31, are not told by Mary his mother, who comes and joins them, that contrary to what they think, Jesus is not crazy.
The gospel of John states “For neither did his brothers believe in him” John 7: 5, Did Mary not inform the rest of her children of Jesus divine origins. It is hard to understand that Mary would not inform them that Jesus was the “messiah” so that they might believe in him and thereby enjoy salvation, and what of Mary’s own reaction towards Jesus. In the few appearances that Mary herself makes in the gospels, during the lifetime of Jesus, there is no indication that she showed any understanding that her son Jesus, was the “son of God.” by means of a unique conception. Mark 3:31-35, John 2:3-4. She, Mary revealed no such understanding to his followers.
Jesus earlier followers said that Jesus became the “Son of God” through the resurrection and they never mentioned a unique conception. Paul declared Jesus to be “Son of God” with power, by the resurrection from the dead. Romans 1: 4, see also Acts 13: 33, Where Psalm 2: 7 is applied to the resurrection.
The doctrine of a unique conception seems to have no effect upon Christian teaching prior to its mention in the last part of the first century.
On the basis of New Testament records it is doubtful that Jesus family, or the early believers, and most of all, even Mary herself did not know about the unique conception she is alleged to have undergone.” Did you not know that I must be concerned with the affairs of my Father?” Strange as it may seem, Mary and Joseph did not know it. They did not know it because they had never heard of their son’s “miraculous conception”. It appears that the unique miraculous conception came into circulation long after the deaths of the people in this story.

There is no Facebook page. It was a thought I had before I realized what happens when you go on Facebook – inundation with minutia and trivia I haven’t given it another thought.

I’ve know for quite a few years now that there is no reliable documented secular evidence for an immortal Jesus. When I was a dedicated Christian in my 50’s I set out to prove that the New Testament Jesus was the real deal. I failed, left the church, and I’ve been a dedicated Atheist ever since.
No one having putting his hand to the plow, looking back is fit for the kingdom of God.
There is no Kingdom of God, no heaven, no angels, no Hell, no Satan and no Demons and no afterlife. It’s all in the mind of the gullible. All world religions are man made.
For some 12 plus years in my mid fifties when I was a sincere practicing Christian believer, I was serious minded most of the time. Living the Christian life was a serious matter to me and I tried my best to do it correctly. When I began to disbelieve in it I was then very serious about that because I believed it was more than a life changing decision. , Now that I have been religion free for some 15 years, I have reacted much differently to giving up on belief in the supernatural.
At the same time of realising that people’s faith is very important to them, I now view it as almost humorous. Since I do not believe in spirits of any kind and life after death, the whole thing of religion takes on, almost a humorous note.
When I see Christians praying over their meal at a restaurant, I feel a little sorrow and strange being in the presence of someone who is trying to communicate with an invisible spirit. I also feel a little pity for believers, who try their best to attend all church services because they truly believe it is their duty. Many times they appear to be slaves to their beliefs. I understand that having been in a gullible situation myself.
I find it fairly easy to speak, what they would call blasphemy. To me it is not blasphemy at all, but to them it is. I can speak lightly of their God, their devil, angles, demons, heaven or hell because I can plainly see they do not exist, even though they firmly believe they do, and without any evidence I might add.
Living in a free country like Australia where a person has the freedom to believe whatever they choose, or to not believe whatever they choose, presents a feeling of light heartedness toward religion of any kind. I feel like I am truly free now in my unbelief. A heavy load has been lifted, and now I’m able to see clearly and as a result, I see a sickening kind of humour in the whole thing of religion and so-called spirituality.
I also realise Christians will see me as a man who has been disillusioned by someone, or angry, or has hardened his heart because of some sin he loves. None is this is true, and I have no reason at all to lie about it. I simply saw that the alleged Holy guide book was so filled with flaws it became unreliable, and then I saw that most of religion was nothing more than a hope its true and wishful thinking.
So there is evolution?
My beliefs are very similar, Jim Lee. My amusement regarding Christians is limited as they are regularly inundating the minds of their children along with the under-educated with their missionary work. My brother has become “born again” and we have had many interesting discussions. In fact, I discovered this site while doing some research.
