The argument that Hitler was an atheist is often presented as evidence that atheism is amoral.

But those making the argument are ignorant of these facts:

• Hitler made numerous references to God in Mien Kamp
• Every Nazi soldier had the phrase “God be with Us” on their belts
• Two thirds of all Nazis’, including their leaders were active Catholics
• The Pope and the Catholic church were allied with Fascism at this time.
